13 Jun Mahalo for an Amazing Lei Shop!
What an incredible lei shop we had — and it was all thanks to our Ohana community!
From bringing in beautiful leis from Hawai‘i, early airport pickups, setting up the pop-up tent, and bagging each order for easy pick-up — teamwork was in full effect. Laulima (many hands working together) made it all happen.
A huge mahalo to our parents, students, volunteers, Harvard-Westlake facilities staff, and administration who helped bring this tradition to life and made it possible for our seniors to feel the love and aloha on their big day.
This year, we offered a beautiful variety of leis — orchids, ti leaves, and haku styles — in many colors and designs, giving families something special to celebrate their seniors.
Our student volunteers also gained hands-on experience running the lei shop, learning business, teamwork, and organization while supporting their classmates.
A special mahalo to Micah Rossen and Fiona Ryan for beautifully featuring the leis and sharing their aloha with the shop.
We’re already looking forward to next year with new ideas to make the lei shop even better. Mahalo for being part of our Ohana!
